The mission of the Church is to restore all people to unity with God and each other in Christ. (Book of Common Prayer p. 855). We prioritize Relationships, Seeking God in the World, and Working for Peace & Justice together as neighbors.

Health | Healing
Abundant Life Ministries is a collaborative effort to promote community level body-mind-spirit-social health. Church of the Holy Spirit offers space at our site for this Gospel work. More info on partnerships, resources, and opportunities to volunteer can be found on Abundant Life website.

Prayer Walks
We believe God is working in our world in amazing ways, and the Spirit of Jesus Christ invites us to boldly, reverently, and lovingly go out to witness the Divine. So, we walk, knock on doors, and invite those we meet to share prayers, petitions, and hopes. We meet God together!

Food Security
Our Abundant Life neighborhood pantry is a way to share food, diapers, feminine hygiene products, and toiletries. We receive donations from our neighbors, Food Not Bombs, FaithAction, and Greensboro Episcopal churches St. Francis, Holy Trinity, and St. Andrew’s.

New Neighbors
God brings us together from West Africa, Central America, the Carribbean, and around the U.S. to grow as the Beloved Community not only as we worship but as we seek justice, dignity, and beauty together. Partners: FaithAction and UNCG Center for New North Carolinians.

Housing Jusice
We are blessed with a large piece of land and are exploring opportunities for partnerships to address the shortage of safe, affordable housing in our city. A team is being created. Check out this page to learn more.

Creation Care
With 10 acres of undeveloped woods and a community garden, we want to amplify God’s mission and use this land to address housing insecurity, a need for public eco-spiritual education and refreshment, and growing healthy food options with our vulnerable neighbors.
